Thursday Night Pie Nights

NEW for 2020 - Thursday Nights are Pie Nights, proper home made pies prepared on site by our award winning chefs.

January Special - Pie and a Pint (choice of cask beer, glass of wine or soft drink) for Just £15.00 per person.


The Classics Special Menu

The Classics Menu continues for 2020. Two Courses for just £15.00 per head from selected items on the menu available Wednesdays to Fridays.


The Big Quiz Nights

Our popular quiz nights are held on the third Thursday of every month. Good fun, general knowledge and £20 Cross Keys voucher for the winning team.

Max of 6 per team, £1.00 entry fee.

January 2020

Burns Night Friday 24th January

Come and enjoy our Scottish celebration hosted by a True Scot who cannot wait to share the Burns night story. Of course served with Haggis, neeps and Tatties!

February 2020

Valentines Night , Friday 14th February.

The Valentine Special at The Cross Keys .

Enjoy great food with great service and make it a special night.

Afternoon Tea, Saturday 15th February.

Afternoon Tea the Cross Keys way. Home made sandwiches, savouries and cakes, not for the calorie conscious, enjoy!

The Winter Warmer Tapas Night, Friday  21st February.

Our 5th Tapas night will banish the winter blues. All the food is freshly prepared on site and reflects the skills of our team eager to provide authentic Spanish Tapas. Our most popular event night, please book early.

March 2020

 The Taste of Excellence Celebration Menu, Saturday 7th March.

What could be better than a one off opportunity to taste the winning menus from The Chef and Young Chef of the year 2019. We've teamed The 2019 Chef of the Year Darren Rogan with the 2019 Young Chef of  Year Emily Page  to present the dishes with which they won the competition. 

Step into Spring, Saturday 21st March

Celebrate Mothers day by choosing your own flowers & learning the skill of making a hand tied posy at our morning workshop. Includes

a gorgeous collection of seasonal, sustainably sourced English foliage in a choice of colours with a vase included to transport them home. Aprons and tools provided.

Mothers  Day, Sunday March 22nd

Mothers Day is a special day for special people. This is one of the most popular days of the year at the Cross Keys and booking is essential. Enjoy Sunday Lunch at it’s best using locally sourced produce freshly prepared on site.

Cookery Masterclass with Dan Wallis, Friday 3rd April

Dan Wallis Columnist for the Lincoln Journal, Lincolnshire TOE Chef of The Year 2016 is renowned for his Masterclass evenings. Come  watch him create and prepare the dishes you will be served on the night. Using fresh locally sourced products he will transform them into an explosion of taste.

The Artisan Gin Night, Friday 24th April

Another chance to learn and taste the growing phenomenon of  Artisan Gins . 5 Gins with accompanying tonics to saviour, along with our        renowned table food, a great night hosted by our own gin expert!

3rd Thursday of every month - Quiz Nights

£1 per person

Grab some friends and come along on the third Thursday of every month to our quiz night.

Varied questions to cover all ages and ability,

Thursday nights are also pie nights so combine the two!

Teams from 2 to 6 maximum.

£1.00 entry fee all goes to local charities.

Quiz starts at 8.30pm and finishes around 10.15pm.

Something new for January at the Cross Keys Stow, Pie Night, every Thursday. Enjoy a pie and a pint of real ale (or a small glass of our house red, white or rose, or a soft drink, for £15). A selection of three pies every week to include a veggie option. If you are gluten free, dairy free or vegan give us 24 hours notice and we can make it!

Its time to show someone you care, choose from our Valentine menu and enjoy great food, great service and a great atmosphere.

Nothing wrong with a little Earl Grey or Breakfast Special in the afternoon, especially when it starts with a glass of fizz. There's lots of Lovely cakes involved with cream scones and savoury sandwiches. Don't worry about the calories January is over!

A one off Taster Menu Extravaganza

If you are a foodie fan then this is for you. We are proud to offer a one opportunity to sample the menus from the winners of this years Lincolnshire Life Taste of Excellence Awards. Darren Rogan Chef of The Year 2019 and Emily Page Young Chef of The Year 2019 will present  as a taster menu their award winning menus from the competition in a one off special celebration evening only available at the Cross Keys. This doesn't get any better for those who enjoy great food in a great atmosphere. For the first time in Lincolnshire we have The Taste of Excellence Chef of The Year Dan Wallis 2016 working with Darren Rogan Chef of The Year 2019 and our award winning Young Chef of The Year 2019 Emily Page all presented in the 2019 Taste of Excellence Award winning Cross Keys Pub and Restaurant.

Choose your flowers for Mothers Day - learn the skill of making a hand tied Posy at our morning workshop.

Celebrate Mothers Day by attending our flower arranging workshop running in conjunction with The Spotted Dog Flower Company. Choose your own coloured flowers from a seasonal collection of gorgeous sustainably sourced English foliage, turn into a hand tied posy complete with vase to transport home. Aprons and tools provided in this all inclusive workshop with lunch included.

£29.50 per head includes masterclass demonstration and two course meal.
